One of the owners here at Violet. Sarah has worked at salons in both Calgary and Winnipeg for the past 10 years before starting this venture with her partner Candace. She loves a good colour challenge, specifically balayage and colour melting. She can't wait to have you in her chair to work towards your hair goals!

She is one of the owners at Violet Salon & Spa. She has been doing hair for 18 years and has been working in the Riverbed area for the last 10 years. Her love for hair cutting began after attending the Vidal Sassoon class is Toronto. Her specialty is natural looking styles, cuts and colours. Candace has a natural approach to hair and would love to see you in her chair one day!

One of our master stylists here at Violet, with over 22 years of making people feel and look beautiful. She has a passion for specializing in colour, styling hair for special events and men's cuts and fades. She loves meeting new clients and would love to see you in her chair one day!
Mindy @mindyleighhair
Mindy is a stylist here at Violet Salon and Spa. She graduated at the top of her class at the Aveda Institute. She is inspired by her co-workers, two sons Brenon and Carter, family and friends who have supported her through this journey. These people continue to inspire her giving her the determination to better her craft, develop her knowledge and grow as a hair stylist. She loves working with guests to make them look and feel beautiful. She enjoys crafting natural beachy styles and men's cuts. She looks forward to meeting you!

Laura is a Nail technician specializing in LCN gel nails here at Violet. Starting in the industry down in Texas over 30 years ago as a Cosmetologist and doing mostly hairstyling, when Laura moved to Canada she began doing LCN Gel enhancements in addition to hair and has never looked back. She loves adding simple nail art and sparkle to your nails and is always learning and practicing new techniques and products to enhance your service. She looks forward to meeting new clients Violet as well as introducing her loyal customers to her new home!
Brooke
Brooke is here to help and make your time here at Violet run smoothly. You will find her at the front desk as our Receptionist, running our Instagram page or providing us with all the latest tunes as our resident DJ! She is a University of Manitoba graduate receiving her Adv. BA with Honours in 2016. Brooke is thrilled to be working with such a fun and successful group of women, she is happy to help book your appointments here at Violet Salon and Spa!
Ashlyn @ashlynsutherland
Ashlyn is one of our amazing stylists here at Violet. She graduated with honours from the Aveda Institute in 2018. Ashlyn jumps at any opportunity to show off her creative side. She loves doing styled photoshoots as well as taking photos of her work in the salon to build her social media. Ashlyn specializes in blonding services and creative styling but she especially loves balayage. She is an all around creative mind and can't wait to get her hands in your hair!

Tierney is a stylist who has been in the industry for eight years. Her passion for the industry has led her to compete, teach and travel to learn as much as she can. Tierney loves up styling, mens fades and specializes in hair tattoos. Tierney's expertise will give give you a cut, colour and style customized just for you!

Brenda is an Esthetician here at Violet. Right from the start she had a love and talent for esthetics. She has been in the business for 27 years, with 13 years of experience with running her own business. She loves to relax her clients with a great pedicure or make your hands look glamorous with a set of LCN gel nails. She looks forward to meeting you!

Hey everyone, This is Mackenzie! She graduated top her class at Miles Macdonell collegiate and is currently working on the final hours of her apprenticeship.
Mackenzie believes in continuing her education and enjoys keeping up with new, creative trends and techniques.
